About Mark:
Hey! Thanks for visiting and checking out my site. I hope you like some of or maybe a lot of the stuff I post here.

This page is to tell a little about myself.

First off, my name is Mark as you can see. I was born in New Jersey, which is my true home. I've also lived in Arizona and as of right now Florida. I didn't start going to shows till really late in my life. My first show was the day after my 17th birthday. I got to see one of my favorite bands ever, open up for Live. Jimmie's Chicken Shack. I'll never forget that day. August 8th, 2002. It was such a great day and I fell in love since then. My next show wasn't for almost another two years, but it was just the beginning of going to shows. The girl I was dating at the time opened my eyes to bands, shows and everything there was to know about them. From time to time, I'd borrow her camera and just snap a few pictures just to keep memories.

Once I moved about to Arizona, that is when going to shows became virtually a must do every week. I started to see more bands and didn't have a camera to use, but it was still fun. Moving to Florida was a huge milestone for me. I got my own camera, a point and shoot, and started to take pictures at shows. Working my up front or just showing up early to get some good photos.

Over time, I became a little more serious and serious about taking photos. Summer, 2008. I was lucky enough to get a photo pass to shoot Warped Tour. Even going with my point and shoot, I felt a little weird, but it didn't stop me. It was fun. I couldn't believe how amazing it was and some good shots I got. Fast foward to January 2009. I get an e-mail from a man named Bobby from All Access Music Magazine. He asked me if I wanted to shoot and cover some shows to him from time to time. I agreed with excitement! Then he gave me a huge assignment to cover. Trivium, Coheed and Cambria with SLIPKNOT. After getting this job from him, I went out and spent every last dime I had on a way better camera.

Once I got the camera, showed up at UCF Arena for Slipknot, I was taken away. Everything was amazing. Once being in that photo pit down there, by the stage. Thousands of fans watching. Security keeping an eye on fans, making sure they aren't hurt. The band playing. Right then, at that moment, I knew what I wanted to do.

Since then I've shot a handfull of shows and created this site to hopefully improve my skills, get exposure and most of all; show everyone the fun I have at shows.

I'm happy with everything I've done, every place I've been, every band I've gotten to shoot, every mile I've driven, and every expierence I've had. I wouldn't trade what I've done or hopefully will do for anything in the world. This started off as a hobby and its slowly rolling into a job. But when something is this fun, who says its a job?

"Music is the soundtrack to our lives." - Dick Clark.

I love that quote. Everyone should remember it.

P.S. - I just want to thank every single band, band manager, PR person, anyone and everyone who has helped me accomplish what I've done, will do and hope to do. Thank you.
